Frequently Asked Questions
What is the age range for children to play at Princesses and Princes?
Children up to and including 6 years of age are welcome to play with the equipment and toys inside the facility. Children under 2 years of age should not play on the jungle gym. Parents and caregivers are responsible for their children at all times and must actively supervise their children. Guests are asked to play kindly with other patrons and to be respectful of each other.
Can my older child play at Princesses and Princes?
Children older than 6 years of age are welcome inside the facility but are not permitted to play on the Cedarworks playset, ride on any of the equipment or run inside the facility. We ask that older children respect the space of the younger children and avoid disruptive behavior. Parents will be asked to correct inappropriate behavior of older children. Guests that are unable or unwilling to follow facility rules will be asked to leave the premises. No refunds will be given.
May I wear shoes / bare feet / dirty socks inside the facility?
Except for medical, disability or other bona fide reasons, shoes, bare feet, or dirty socks are not allowed inside the play area. If socks are forgotten, they are available for purchase at the front counter. Children are REQUIRED to wear GRIP socks while inside the playground. Socks are required for adults as well (grip socks are recommended).
May I bring outside food or drink to Princesses and Princes?
Outside food is discouraged, as many young guests have food sensitivities or allergies. Food and drinks may only be consumed within designated areas. No food or drinks are allowed in the play area. Food and drink may also be consumed outside the facility in the picnic area.
Is there a place for food / drink / bag storage at Princesses and Princes?
Yes! Cubbies are available in the lobby for shoe storage. There are also cubbies in the infant room for food and bag storage.
Can I drop my child off at Princesses and Princes and pick them up after play or event?
No! Children may not be left unattended in the facility. Parents and caregivers are responsible for their children at all times and must actively supervise their children. All guests must agree to and follow the facility rules as outlined in our playground waiver.
How is Princesses and Princes kept clean?
Shoes are never permitted inside the play area, which prevents bacteria from dirty shoes from being introduced onto the playing floor. Soiled toys are removed from the play area through the use of "Yuck" buckets. We encourage parents to assist by placing toys they observe to be soiled (or that their child has placed in their mouth) into a Yuck bucket, so our staff can properly clean the toy prior to it being used again. Our toys are cleaned with natural, non-toxic cleaners, such as 7th Generation or electrolyzed water to clean our floor, toys, and equipment. All toys and equipment are cleaned throughout the day and nightly. We also kindly ask that parents of ill children visit the facility when their child is feeling better.
Can I bring my stroller into the playground?
We ask that strollers are left in your car and not brought into the playground. We have very limited space for stroller storage. Strollers are not permitted in the play area and any strollers brought inside will be collapsed and stored in the storeroom. Strollers will not be permitted inside once the storeroom becomes full.
Is there a diaper changing area at Princesses and Princes?
Yes. There are diaper changing tables in both unisex bathrooms.
Can I leave and come back in a day?
Yes! You can leave and return in the same day with a paid admission. Please see our staff in the lobby before you depart, to ensure you receive a hand stamp which will allow you to return.

The facility may close early on the day before Thanksgiving and on New Year's Eve. There may be other times that the facility closes for special or private events.
